A dynamic small to medium size software company based in Hammersmith, West London, is looking for a HR/IT Administrator to join and support their operations team. This position is hybrid, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. This newly created role combines two critical operational functions, HR and IT, providing an opportunity to enhance both employee experience and technological efficiency. You will play a dual role, providing HR administrative support and IT operational assistance across the company.

HR Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding/Offboarding process: Assist with onboarding processes, including preparing contracts, collecting documentation, and setting up new starter inductions. Assist in managing the offboarding process, ensuring all necessary steps are completed for leavers, including system access revocation and asset recovery and reallocation.
  • HR Systems and Administration: Support the day-to-day operations of HR information systems, including data entry, maintenance, updates, of employee records, new Starter information, training information and other HR-related data.
  • Recruitment: Support the recruitment process, including supporting the posting of job ads, screening candidate applications, scheduling interviews, and liaising with hiring managers.
  • HR Compliance - Ensure data accuracy within HR systems, upholding data privacy regulations like GDPR and maintaining compliance with relevant employment laws.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the coordination of training and development requests for employees.
  • Collaboration: Work closely and collaboratively with all stakeholders across the company, maintaining effective communication and assisting where needed.

IT Responsibilities:

  • Office 365 administrator - Be the first point of contact for the company, for IT workstation setup and ensuring staff have the correct hardware and software configurations, including user account management.
  • First Line Technical Support -Acting as the first point of contact and escalation for any IT technical troubleshooting and issues.
  • New starter access setups: support the onboarding process ensuring all required permissions are correctly assigned and laptops
  • Maintain and manage IT asset inventory: Organise the purchase and delivery of IT kits for new starters, as well as replacement IT hardware and software for employees across the company.
  • IT security / Maintenance: Manage the company’s anti-virus software installation and ensure all devices comply with security standards and support the company across IT security policies and best practices across the company.

Person Specification, Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years working in a similar Administrative/IT role, function or environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent trouble shooting and analytical skills to identify and resolve systems, software and hardware issues.
  • Assertive, resilient and highly organised.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Knowledge and application of both HP Windows and MAC IOS systems is essential
  • Knowledge of help desk software and remote-control tools.
  • Proactive and able to work under own initiative.
  • Be a system orientated and technically minded person
