HR Administrator. Central London. Media organisation. £30000 + benefits

(M-F Office based)

This is an important role as the successful candidate will be the first point of contact in the HR department. This is a fast paced, hands-on role covering all aspects of HR administration which will suit an ambitious person who is focused on being part of change and processes to make the department more efficient.

Key responsibilities and main tasks:

  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding and orientation programs
  • Lead and manage the onboarding process, including managing pre-employment checks
  • Deliver a start-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and selection.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation
  • Supporting line managers with advice and guidance on probation period, absence management and policies and procedures
  • Answering any employee inquiries
  • Manage and maintain employee benefits and portals
  • Support with Payroll using our HR system, this will include ensuring any overtime or additional payments are authorised and processed.

The ideal candidate:

  • Strong administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem solving abilities
  • Previous experience within a HR Department
  • Knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • CIPD qualified would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Competent in in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and google suite.
  • Payroll experience strongly desirable
