Interim Director of People & Culture | 6 month FTC | £100k-£120k (pro-rata) | Hybrid working from London office

Altum Consulting are currently partnered with a global philanthropic organisation to secure an interim Director of People & Culture, for a 6 month period.

The organisation have gone through a recent period of dynamic growth, and this role will play a pivotal role is the next stage of their journey - embedding and stabilising HR operations, and developing the people strategy in line with the organisation's strategic plan.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop the people strategy, obtaining board and senior leadership buy-in
  • Lead on organisational culture and design, driving a values-led programme
  • Line management of a small team, ensuring they are mentored, developed, and given opportunities to flourish
  • Contribute to further workforce growth with a focus on attraction and retention of the best talent

The organisation are looking for candidates with:

  • Significant experience at Director level
  • Candidates with experience of working in fast-paced, agile environments
  • Experience building and embedding people strategies
  • Excellent experience developing direct reports
  • Experience with grant-making organisations desirable (but not essential)
