EA to Chief People Officer

International Law Firm in London is seeking a highly organised and efficient EA to Chief People Officer (CPO) on a 14-month fixed-term contract. 

  • Salary to £60,000
  • 14-month fixed-term contract

In this role, you will provide high-level administrative and technical support, ensuring the seamless execution of the CPO’s daily responsibilities.  You will manage confidential tasks, coordinate competing priorities and work closely with the firm’s Central Management team of EAs to deliver a cohesive and efficient service to the firm’s strategic goals and objectives.

EA to Chief People OfficerKey Responsibilities:

  • Be an ambassador and key liaison for the CPO with internal and external contacts
  • Ability to answer questions, queries and provide updates on key HR Projects and Process as appropriate
  • Organise all regional and international travel arrangements and bookings for the CPO where required, including visas
  • Provide support for strategic and ad-hoc projects that are managed and lead by the HR Leadership Team
  • Work closely with all other EAs, the firm’s Central Management team, and other Business Services Directors to ensure alignment on work priorities and upcoming events
  • Prepare and amend confidential HR papers for Management Committees
  • Organise and manage HR Leadership Team Meetings, HR Team meetings, HR new joiner meetings, awaydays and social events where required
  • Coordinate the annual performance review process for all direct reports of the CPO
  • Provide support for cycle processes that are led by the HR Leadership Team such as Salary Review
  • Coordinate and track HR Budgets for CPO, including preparation and submission of HR Budget for annual budget process

EA to Chief People Officer Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous C-suite experience within a partnership is essential, preferably a law firm and in a similar role having supported at a senior level
  • Understanding the sensitive information this role exposes and able to always maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong communicator able to work with Partners, Directors and senior stakeholders within the business
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
