If you are passionate about Early Careers and would like to take the next step in your career, this role might be perfect for you. Managing a small and very friendly team, you will act as the main point of contact for key stakeholders and provide a first-class service which supports the full cycle of graduate recruitment and development, selection, onboarding, and qualification processes.

Some of the role responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor current and future trainee performance through to qualification, and proactively deal with any performance issues
  • Manage the end of seat appraisal process ensuring all appraisal reviews with trainees are completed in a timely manner
  • Provide training and administrative support and develop, write and present skills sessions
  • Manage all aspects of marketing activities (including attending law fairs and presenting at Open Days and other events) and employer branding
  • Overseeing all social media and graduate advertising
  • Provide reports and statistical analysis on graduate recruitment activities
  • Prepare the graduate recruitment budget and monitor costs
  • Planning and delivery of social mobility and diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Design, plan and facilitate the trainee vacation scheme, open day and offer process
  • Manage and continuously review all work experience programmes including liaising with candidates, induction scheduling and overseeing candidate experience
  • Managing induction processes in conjunction with the Learning & Development team
  • Pastoral support and guidance

Key knowledge and skills required:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Proven experience as a Graduate Recruitment Manager 1-2 years plus (essential)
  • Enthusiastic and prepared to take a hands-on approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written and spoken
  • Excellent proven organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and be effective under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong levels of numeracy and use of grammar
  • Proven ability to deal with confidential matters with discretion
