Managing a small and very friendly team, you will act as the main point of contact for key stakeholders and provide a first-class service which supports the full cycle of graduate recruitment and development, selection, onboarding, and qualification processes.
Some of the role responsibilities will include:
- Monitor current and future trainee performance through to qualification, and proactively deal with any performance issues
- Manage the end of seat appraisal process ensuring all appraisal reviews with trainees are completed in a timely manner
- Provide training and administrative support and develop, write and present skills sessions
- Manage all aspects of marketing activities (including attending law fairs and presenting at Open Days and other events) and employer branding
- Overseeing all social media and graduate advertising
- Provide reports and statistical analysis on graduate recruitment activities
- Prepare the graduate recruitment budget and monitor costs
- Planning and delivery of social mobility and diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Design, plan and facilitate the trainee vacation scheme, open day and offer process
- Manage and continuously review all work experience programmes including liaising with candidates, induction scheduling and overseeing candidate experience
- Managing induction processes in conjunction with the Learning & Development team
- Pastoral support and guidance
Key knowledge and skills required:
- Educated to degree level
- Proven experience as a Graduate Recruitment Manager 1-2 years plus (essential)
- Enthusiastic and prepared to take a hands-on approach
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written and spoken
- Excellent proven organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and be effective under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail, strong levels of numeracy and use of grammar
- Proven ability to deal with confidential matters with discretion
