Reed HR London is proud to be working with a public sector organisation on a Head of HR role. Duties are as follows but not limited to:

  1. Work proactively with the Administrators to deliver a comprehensive and timely HR service, ensuring the day-to-day HR issues and wider hospital projects are managed in accordance with hospital policy and/or relevant Business Plans
  2. Manage the staff recruitment process in liaison with line managers, ensuring that all pre-employment and compliance checks are completed and new members of staff are fully inducted and within budget
  3. Create and implement the annual mandatory training programme ensuring compliance with CQC Regulations
  4. Promote and administer L&D training in line with the hospital’s appraisal system
  5. Work collaboratively with the Management team offering advice pertaining to performance management, employee relations, grievances, sickness and absence procedures and relevant HR processes
  6. Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas requiring improvement
  7. Administer staff benefits in conjunction with the Finance Director and Finance Manager
  8. Create and review HR policies and amend the staff handbook in accordance with governing legislations and good practice
  9. Contribute to the health and safety agenda, working proactively as a member of the Health and Safety Committee
  10. Work in collaboration with line managers to ensure DSE assessments and maternity risk assessments are completed when applicable
  11. Ensure correct management of employee records and data
  12. Consistently review service provision in order to define priorities and objectives to maintain and further develop the HR department
  13. Ensure data protection and confidentiality processes are rigorously administered within the areas of responsibility
  14. Manage, monitor and report all RTW audits, professional registrations and DBS
  15. Oversee all related HR systems and their use and applications

This is a Full time role and will be on site for minimum of 4 days.
