Head of People Services - Charity - London with Hybrid working - £54,000This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of HR to join The Passage, an inspirational charity providing a wide range of vital services that help to prevent and end homelessness for good.Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer you will be responsible for the delivery and development of effective People Services programmes, processes and policies. Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Developing a People Resource strategy to underpin their 3-year strategy
  • Driving continuous improvement and a positive organisational culture
  • Implementing a recruitment and retention strategy for high calibre staff and volunteers
  • Developing a strong performance management and appraisal system
  • Improving the use of workforce data and analytics
  • Managing complex employee relations issues
  • Coaching and managing the People Services team

You should be an experienced Head of HR or HR Generalist with a track record of developing and implementing HR plans and working with a senior management team. A strong knowledge of employment law and recruitment best practice needs to be combined with an ability to promote and deliver a positive culture. Experience of managing and coaching a team is essential. Ideally you will have worked in the charity or not of profit sectors.
