Kingswood Group are working with a leading financial services firm to recruit an experienced HR & Payroll Executive on a permanent basis. 

Based in the heart of the City of London, this hybrid role offers flexibility, with 2 days a week required in the office. 

You will be joining a small, dynamic HR team, where you will play a key role in providing essential HR and Payroll support across the business.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries, providing advice and guidance 
  • Maintain employee records, including contracts, starters, and leavers
  • Assist in recruitment processes
  • Support the development and implementation of HR Policies and procedures
  • Process accurate and timely payroll input to the payroll provider for all employees, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
  • Handle queries relating to payroll
  • Administration of benefits for starters and leavers liaising with providers 
  • Manage HR systems and ensure data accuracy
  • Prepare HR and payroll-related reports for management
  • Assist with audits and compliance checks

Essential experience required:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role is essential, including overseeing payroll administration
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
  • Familiarity with HR practices and UK employment law
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills 
  • CIPD Level 3 or above would be desirable but not essential
