HR Manager | Fast Growth Media Agency | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with one of the world's biggest names in the agency space on the lookout for a new HR Manager to join their dynamic team.

The Business:

Our client has made a name for themselves after scaling rapidly to 70 people in seven years and are firmly established as one of the key agencies to work with if you want to combine growth and great culture. Their modern, dynamic, and bustling creative HQ is based in London and boasts an exciting and passionate culture. As a business, they prioritize growth, development, and learning. This role is hybrid, with two days at home and three in-office.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director you will look after the entire HR function for the business. This will be a stand alone generalist position. Your role is to support the successful running of the group's HR function (including oversight of payroll, which is outsourced). You'd be joining the business through an exciting and transformational time, so you'd be responsible for determining where policies could be implemented and updated- and have the opportunity to action those changes.

Additionally, you will have the chance to lead on employee relations work, including grievances, performance management, bereavement, and redundancies, so strong communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, publish, and implement new company-wide HR policies, taking initiative to determine gaps in current policies
  • Take point on employee relations matters
  • Liaise with stakeholders and managers within the business
  • Oversee performance management, grievance, redundancy, and onboarding/offboarding processes
  • Contribute to and oversee monthly payroll processing
  • Salary & benefits reviews
  • Liaising with the Managing Director to ensure a slick and effective infrastructure is in place

What we'd like to see (bonus):

  • CIPD qualified
  • Previous experience in the Media/Creative/Entertainment industries

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 DOE
