This is a fantastic opportunity for an immediately available HR Manager looking for a new challenge, or an experience Senior HR Advisor/HR Officer looking for their first HR Manager role. Our client is a growing and ambitious mid-sized law firm based near London Bridge in the City. They operate hybrid working (3 days in the office) and have an incredibly supportive and relaxed HR team.
They are looking for someone ASAP to cover a maternity leave (12 months+) in a role that will see you reporting to the Head of HR, but also responsible for 2 direct reports - so experience managing HR Advisors/HR Assistants previously is essential.
The role is a broad and varied HR Generalist with equal opportunities to get involved with the strategic and business planning side, as well as the operational areas of HR, and projects. Key duties include;
- Acting as the main point of contact for the managers and stakeholders within the business, providing sound, commercial advice on everything from people management to risks and compliance
- Take responsibility for the day to day running of the operational side of the HR team
- To lead on ER matters and offer guidance to more junior members of the HR team
- Take an active role/lead on HR projects such as salary and benefits renewals, and wellbeing projects
- Work closely with managers and partners, coaching them to improve management of staff within their teams
- Advise on, develop, and implement any new HR policies and procedures, ensuring legislative requirements are met.
What they are looking for is an immediately available HR Manager who has at least 2-3 years’ experience within a law firm, but they would consider experienced Senior HR Advisors from law firms, and HR Managers from similar industries (accountancy, consultancy etc.).
