HR Manager
Pinpoint Resourcing are partnering an incredibly exciting commercial property business to hire a Senior HR Manager for a 12 month FTC
Objectives:
• To be a main point of contact for Stakeholders across the business, building professional and sustainable working relationships with employees and managers across the business, acting as a trusted advisor in all matters related to the employment and management of people.
• To support the Head of People in ensuring the provision of a professional HR service to the business, which is responsive to the needs of the business and in line with standard practice.
• To ensure a thriving inclusive workplace is created where everyone is valued and inspired to reach their full potential. Main Responsibilities: Working with the Business:
• Build and maintain internal relationships to understand how best the HR Team can assist their needs.
• Business Partner with assigned stakeholders and acts as a trusted advisor in all matters related to the employment and management of people.
• Challenge, advise and influence managers regarding poor practice when necessary, advocating best practice and creating alternative pragmatic solutions.
• Attend relevant meetings as appropriate to shape and influence planning, development strategies, advise on HR implications and people management approaches.
• Advise on and manage employee relations issues such as grievances, performance and disciplinary cases and sickness management cases.
• Ensure the probation and appraisal processes are effectively used across the business.
• Oversee flexible working requests.
• Implement HR initiatives aligned with the HR strategy and overall business strategy.
• Liaise with Company’s Employment Advisors as appropriate.
• Offer pragmatic solutions and ensure that messaging is appropriate for the circumstance.
• Ensure managers and employees are fully aware of HR policies.
• Coach managers on performance management issues and processes.
ESG:
• Actively promote HR initiatives required to drive the Company forward in line with the Company’s strategy and corporate objectives
• Assist the Head of People with the delivery against the Company’s social sustainability strategy
• Support HR colleagues on managing and promoting wellbeing initiatives
Working Across the HR Team:
• Work collaboratively and in partnership with all other members of the HR Team, ensuring that information is shared appropriately, and processes are joined up to enable full professional support to the Company.
• Approve and Sign Contracts of Employment and Variations as required.
• Support the Head of People in ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness through the review of business processes, systems and methods of working.
• Liaise with the Payroll Manager to conduct the first sign off and ensure the information is inputted into the monthly payroll.
• Support the Head of People to ensure that the HR team remains professionally up-to-date with HR trends, legislation and initiatives to identify relevant opportunities, at all times ensuring sufficient understanding of the organisation and its workforce in order to provide effective advice.
• Assist with the Gender Pay Ratio reporting calculations.
• Assist with the CEO Pay Ratio and any other reporting calculations, as required.
• Assist with the design, delivery and actions associated with the annual employee survey
More information:
- Annual salary between £65,000 - £70,000
- Hybrid working (4 days in the office, 1 from home)
