Join our Client's HR team, where you will contribute to delivering a comprehensive and high-quality HR service. This role is ideal for someone who can provide expert advice and guidance, support operational targets, and engage in project-based activities aligned with their strategic goals.

Part time, potential temp to perm (open to full time)

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support managers in delivering high-quality services through effective HR management, offering advice and guidance across a full range of HR services.
  • Assist in resolving staffing issues and managing strategies to ensure compliance with statutory safeguarding and associated responsibilities.
  • Handle specific employee issues such as grievances, disciplinaries, and absence management under the guidance of the Head of HR (Operations).
  • Conduct job evaluations, ensuring adherence to the Group’s evaluation arrangements and advising on outcomes.
  • Coordinate induction sessions for new staff and manage arrangements as necessary.
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation and external initiatives that may affect the Group, assisting in the development of procedures and policies to reflect current best practices.
  • Monitor and assess performance management cases and contribute to termly monitoring meetings to review these cases and sickness absences.
  • Provide management information as required and assist with the monitoring and review of HR function costs to ensure budget compliance.
  • Direct and support HR Advisors/Assistants to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide training on relevant HR topics and initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in HR management within a similar role, ideally in an educational or large group setting.
  • Strong ability to provide HR advice and support to managers and staff.
  • Experience in handling employee relations issues such as grievances and disciplinaries.
  • Knowledge of current HR practices, legislation, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment.
