Title: Interim Payroll Manager (6 Month FTC)

JGA are delighted to be working with a successful organisation looking to add an Interim Payroll Manager to its team for a 6 Month FTC!

Responsibilities include:
  • Input payroll data accurately and timely into payroll systems for all employees
  • Ensure data input into payroll systems is complete, accurate and in compliant
  • Prepare regular payroll reports and ad hoc reports of payroll data
  • Conduct regular internal audits to verify payroll accuracy
  • Prepare, review, and reconcile payroll journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Work with Finance teams with necessary journal entries and supporting schedules for payroll-related items
  • Prepare and update procedures to ensure that the department is in compliance with all internal and external control requirements

Skills & experience required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business or other related field or associate’s degree combined with equivalent experience or equivalent
  • Proven experience with responsibilities for the full payroll cycle in UK and other European countries (Belgium preferred).
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in Cintra and SD Worx payroll solution will be advantageous
