About the Role

Operating within a team environment and carrying over your payroll expertise and knowledge, you will see yourself managing the daily payroll function, all whilst contributing to ad hoc projects. As well as the below:

Duties:

  • Process end to end payroll in a timely manner
  • Maintenance of employee data
  • Vendor management
  • Preparing and processing employee monthly & quarterly data
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders both internal & external
  • Carry out month-end and year-end duties
  • Calculate all employee entitlements including but not limited to: SMP, SSP, SPP
  • Demonstrate strong customer service to the highest level
  • Process and maintain companies benefit schemes
  • Adhere to all payroll related queries and manage the payroll query inbox
  • Contribute & participate in project on an ad hoc basis

Skills and Experience

  • Experience working within a complex payroll environment is desirable
  • Strong proven experience utilising Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Macros etc.)
  • Proven experience performing end to end payroll
  • Prior experience undertaking and managing benefit schemes
  • Excellent written, verbal & interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Proven ability to develop effective partnerships to proactively find solutions and efficiencies in processes
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
