Our client, a reputable London based property business are looking for a Part-Time Payroll Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This role will be a sole role working 2 days per week with a chance to increase to 3 days in the future. It will currently be 1 day in the office and 1 day working from home.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Taking sole responsibility for the payroll function working closely with HR & Finance
  • Managing all aspects of the monthly payroll process for UK employees, validating all changes and ensuring employees earnings and deductions are accurate and in compliance with legal requirements and company guidelines
  • Manage any payroll queries and/or follow up any discrepancies
  • Maintaining contact with the external payroll provider for the UK, submitting the data for the monthly payroll process, reviewing the preliminary reports and approving the final version of the payslips
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations / statutory reporting and returns including P60s, P11ds and PAYE settlement agreement
  • Working with the wider HR and Finance teams to streamline payroll and our processes, improve payroll cycles and reduce errors
  • Outside of busy payroll periods, this role will also support general HR administration, such as maintaining the HR system, generating letters and responding to queries.
  • Manage any payroll queries and/or follow up any discrepancies
