Payroll Manager - City - £42,500

Hybrid working, 09:00-17:30

Wise May are looking for a Payroll Manager to join our client, an extremely busy and sociable Investment company based in the City for a 6 month FTC.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely team in a company who reward hard work.

Duties to include:

  • Process payroll for all employees on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Manage and maintain employee payroll records, including timecards, tax withholdings, and deductions.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax forms, and compensation.
  • Stay up to date with payroll laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and making any necessary changes to processes.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to relevant authorities as required.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR teams to ensure accurate reporting and proper integration between payroll and other systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information and handle sensitive data with discretion.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in payroll processing or payroll administration.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Previous experience of using ADP payroll software preferred
  • Professional certifications in payroll or human resources management would be advantageous.
