We are working with a top-rate law firm who are seeking a Payroll Manager to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis.

This role would be a great opportunity for a candidate with extensive experience in Payroll gained from a professional services environment. A payroll qualification would be advantageous, although this is not essential. Additionally, you’ll need to be a well organised individual with the ability to oversee processes.

What will the role involve? This role will involve dealing with the total range of payroll processes across the firm’s multiple offices.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the onboarding and offboarding of all employees on to payroll.
  • Making any amendments to employee payrolls, as required.
  • Handling any payroll-related inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assume full responsibility for the compliance of procedures and processes carried out.
  • Working closely with the firm’s outsourced payroll providers, deciphering whether the services are fully efficient.
  • Overseeing all payroll processes, identifying any needs for improvement across the board.
