This award winning rail company are currently looking to hire on a FTC basis, until May 2025 but potentially to go permanent an experience hands on recruiter to oversee and provide the recruitment tools and process required to able an effective and first class recruitment experience.

Your responsibilities will include working with Senior Managers, Directors, and HR Business Partners to support the strategy for workforce planning to ensure both operational needs are met and budgeted headcount is within target establishment, whilst taking ownership and playing an active role in the on-going management of headcount and vacancies within the Operations business area - working closely with centre of excellence, ops and finance to ensure affordability with the support of the HR Business Partners.

To support the delivery of a diverse workforce through the development and implementation of an effective and comprehensive resourcing plan in line with the business priorities. Develop and deliver a progressive resourcing strategy. Advising recruiting managers on employment matters during the recruitment and selection cycle, with particular reference to Equality and Inclusion.

You will have experience of working in a recruitment role, ideally familiar with both blue and white collar hiring needs, managing all aspects of the recruitment process from vacancies through to onboarding.

Experience of managing suppliers as well as running executive search is also desired.
