Ryder Reid Legal has an exciting opportunity to join our leading US law firm client's London office as a Temporary Recruitment Manager!

Role: Temporary - 6 months starting 17th January

Working Arrangement: Hybrid - minimum of 3 days a week in the London office

Role Overview: The successful hire will ensure that top candidates are hired at all levels and smoothly integrated into the Firm in accordance with applicable employment laws and Firm guidelines. They will also be responsible for orientation and on-boarding of attorneys, and trainee and Summer Student programme, budgeting, management and utilization of the firm's technology. Ensures client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment process from recruitment plans and sourcing to managing the offer process.
  • Provide a professional and efficient recruiting experience for our candidates and hiring partners from start to finish, from initial touchpoint to offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Responsible for implementing diversity plans for attorney recruiting that support the Firm's objectives.
  • Ensures attorney recruitment program is efficient, administratively strong and integrated throughout to achieve successful hire of top candidates.
  • Developing strong relationships with placement agencies; negotiating contracts, establishing service level expectations, and facilitating ongoing communications.
  • Working closely with Firmwide Attorney Recruiting, International HR and Marketing, Office Managing Partners and Hiring Partners
  • Lead the facilitation of all aspects of the Summer Associate Program: orientation and training, scheduling, and coordination of all summer associate assignments.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4-5 years of legal recruiting experience
  • Strong technology skills in MS Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Familiarity with Human Resources systems and relational databases preferred.
