About The Role:

As a HR Adviser, you will play an integral role in helping the business achieve its strategic goals by providing advice and guidance in relation to building high performance teams and culture. Working closely with employees and managers you will help ensure that our people are engaged and supported whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with company procedures, documented policies, and employment legislation.

This is a varied HR generalist role in which you will work closely with the Foxtons management team and have responsibility for a wide range of tasks. These include:

  • Building great relationships with employees and managers by understanding their challenges from a people perspective and coaching and supporting them in employment matters
  • Educating, motivating, and empowering managers to support and engage their teams
  • Advising senior managers on a range of ER cases in line with company policy and procedure and relevant legislation
  • Educating and empowering managers to successfully manage and support their teams
  • Advising and guiding on attendance, performance, wellbeing, engagement, development, and retention
  • Overseeing the employee lifecycle, including preparing new starter contracts, processing reference requests, maintaining employee records, and managing exits
  • Processing family leave entitlement
  • Assisting with payroll preparation

About You:

Skills Required:

  • Hands on experience advising Managers in relation to ER enquiries
  • Great interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Experience documenting HR processes in file notes and letters
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively prioritise tasks
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
