- Lead the end-to-end process for maternity, paternity, and parental leave, ensuring a smooth experience for employees and managers.
- Manage sickness and absence cases, providing advice and guidance to managers, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal obligations.
- Support HRBPs with employee relations matters, offering guidance on policies, best practices, and procedures.
- Work closely with managers to monitor and manage long-term sickness cases, ensuring timely interventions and return-to-work processes.
- Provide support during consultations or sensitive conversations with employees around leave or absence-related issues.
- Collaborate with the HR Operations team to ensure seamless execution of processes, such as issuing contracts and maintaining employee records.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee wellbeing, engagement, and productivity.
- Ensure that all HR policies and processes are followed in line with current legislation and best practices.
- Experience in a similar Junior HR Advisor, HR Coordinator, or HR Generalist role, ideally within a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
- Strong knowledge and experience in managing maternity, paternity, and parental leave, as well as sickness and absence management.
- Familiarity with UK employment law, particularly around leave and absence policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with managers and employees.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to navigate complex employee relations cases.
- Experience working closely with HRBPs or senior HR stakeholders to support business needs.
