Job Title: Senior HR Advisor

About Us:As our client continues to grow, they are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior HR Advisor to join their dynamic HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practises. Address employee concerns and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead the recruitment process for key positions, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new hires. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify talent needs and create engaging job descriptions.
  • Performance Management: Support the performance appraisal process, offering coaching to managers on effective feedback and development discussions. Help design performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and assist in creating development programmes that enhance employee skills and career progression. Promote a culture of continuous learning.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Regularly review policies to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Analyse HR data to provide insights and recommendations for improving employee engagement, retention, and overall HR practises. Prepare reports for management as needed.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organisation to create a more inclusive workplace. Collaborate with teams to ensure diversity is embedded in all HR practises.

Qualifications:

  • CIPD L5 min (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a senior advisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practises.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven experience in managing employee relations issues effectively and with discretion.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics and data.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
