People Advisor

Reed HR are working with a Professional Services firm who are seeking a People Advisor to join their dynamic People team in Central London. This role is crucial for providing comprehensive HR support across the UK, managing various aspects of the employee experience from onboarding to exit. You will collaborate closely with senior HR personnel to drive initiatives in Employee Relations, Engagement, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide proactive HR support and advice to client groups, including managing annual bonus and salary review processes.
  • Lead on employee relations cases, offering guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and grievances, sickness, absence and more.
  • Support the wellbeing of employees, acting as a wellbeing ambassador and managing complex health cases.
  • Conduct exit interviews for senior roles or in sensitive situations, and advise on family leave policies.
  • Analyse HR data to improve service delivery and contribute to HR projects at both the local and national levels.
  • Utilise HR systems for regular reporting on various metrics like holiday usage, retention rates, and absence trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR advisory role, ideally within a large organisation.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures and their application within the business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience in handling complex employee relations issues and providing performance management guidance.
  • Ability to manage HR projects and contribute to the development of the HR function.
  • Proficient in HR systems and data analysis.
