About the Role:

Lewisham Council is seeking an experienced HR Adviser to join their team on a temporary basis. This role focuses on Employee Relations (ER) casework, requiring a strong understanding of Employment Law and previous experience working in a local authority setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and advise on Employee Relations cases, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Provide guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support investigations, disciplinary hearings, grievances, and absence management cases.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the council to drive effective HR solutions.
Requirements:
