Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Wood Green.

Role Purpose

  • Support managers and employees with workplace issues like absences, performance concerns, and disputes.
  • Ensure company policies and employment rules are followed while helping with training and development.
  • Assist with recruitment, payroll updates, and HR paperwork to keep everything running smoothly.

Main Duties

  • Help managers handle staff issues like sick leave, performance problems, and workplace disputes.
  • Give advice to employees and managers on company rules and job conditions.
  • Make sure payroll updates are shared and processed correctly.
  • Support the HR Manager in training managers and improving leadership skills.
  • Join meetings with managers to review ongoing employee issues and spot patterns.
  • Take notes during important meetings, like investigations and disciplinary hearings.
  • Assist in hiring new employees by being part of interview panels.
  • Work with different teams to ensure HR processes run smoothly.

Requirements

  • CIPD Qualified
  • Experience dealing with workplace issues like sick leave, disputes, and disciplinary cases.
  • Ability to coach and support managers with staff and company changes.
  • Excellent level of digital literacy
  • Good organisation, planning, multitasking and time management skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure
