An exciting position has arisen for a HR Coordinator to work for an excellent Charity to provide support to their HR function.

The role will be working closely with the Head of HR and HR Business Partners, so is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to expand their skillset and gain experience across these areas.

Key responsibilities:

  • Recruitment support with uploading vacancies, responding to ad hoc questions from Hiring Managers e.g. progress update
  • Researching salary recommendations and places to advertise vacancies ahead of recruitment and advising Hiring Managers
  • Respond to questions from the head of department or managers regarding contractual arrangements e.g. notice periods
  • Calculating holiday allowances for TTO and mid-year leavers
  • Amendments to letters beyond what the HR Admin team are responsible for e.g. when a leaver owes money
  • Setting up and drafting letters for meetings and consultations
  • Assistance with occupational health referrals and arrangements
  • Compiling an employee’s sickness records, calculating how many days have been taken in a rolling year
  • Checking and responding to Business Partner inboxes daily
  • Note taking for employee relations cases in conjunction with admin team
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required

 Successful candidate profile:

  • Minimum CIPD level 5
  • Strong HR administrative experience
  • Experience using HR systems (CoreHR is desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail and team player
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
