The Workday/HRIS Change Manager will be responsible for managing and driving the change management strategy for Workday implementations, upgrades, and optimisations, predominantly for the UK region, but in close collaboration with the company’s other entities in Europe. The ideal candidate will work closely with HR, IT, and regional teams to ensure that all stakeholders are fully prepared and equipped to leverage the capabilities of Workday to support their business objectives.The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of HRIS systems (ideally Workday and its functionalities), along with proven experience in leading change management initiatives within a global, cross-cultural context. This role is crucial in supporting the company's ongoing HR digital transformation efforts, ensuring that system changes align with business goals and deliver tangible value.Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy for Workday deployments
  • Assess the impact of Workday changes on various business units and design tailored change management plans to address the specific needs of each area.
  • Ensure effective communication and engagement strategies are in place to support end-users during transitions, minimising disruption and enhancing system adoption.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, IT, and other functional area leaders to align change management activities with overall business objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across the UK, ensuring their needs and feedback are incorporated into the change management process.
  • Engage with external Workday partners and vendors to coordinate change management activities, leveraging their expertise and resources to support successful implementations.
  • Design and deliver targeted training programs to ensure HR and business users understand and can fully utilise new Workday functionalities.
  • Create and maintain user documentation, support materials, and FAQs to help end-users navigate system changes.
  • Provide hands-on support to regional HR teams during go-live phases, addressing questions and troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by collecting feedback from end-users and incorporating it into future change management plans.
  • Track and measure system adoption rates and user satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans to enhance user experience.
  • Work with the HR leadership team to identify opportunities to expand Workday’s functionality, increase automation, and improve data quality across all regions.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in HRIS change management, with a strong focus on Workday and/or similar HR technology systems.
  • Demonstrated success in leading change management initiatives across an entire business, ideally within a large multinational organisation.
  • Experience in collaborating with diverse teams and managing stakeholder relationships in a cross-cultural environment.
Skills:
  • Change Management Expertise: Proficient in change management methodologies and able to tailor strategies to meet the specific needs of various regions and business units.
  • Workday Knowledge: Familiar with Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Talent Management, Absence
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, from regional teams to senior executives.
  • Training & Development: Skilled in designing and delivering effective training programs, with a focus on practical, hands-on learning.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills, with a focus on measuring the impact of change management efforts and identifying areas for continuous improvements
  • Committed to understanding user needs and addressing their concerns throughout the change management process.
  • Anticipates challenges and addresses them proactively to ensure smooth transitions for all users.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
