Senior HR Advisor – London – Hybrid - £45,000 - £50,000

A hugely successful multinational environmental charity based in Central London is seeking a detail-oriented, focused, and personable Senior HR Advisor to assist with developing and supporting key policies, processes, and recruitment on a 15 month FTC.

Please note – Hybrid working is offered – 2 days per week in the office and 3 days at home.  This is a 15 month FTC so candidates should be available to interview immediately and begin a role within the next 4 weeks.

Reporting to the Deputy HR Director and working in a small and dedicated team, you will work to deliver and oversee high-quality, proactive advice, services and support to key HR policies and processes, including: diversity and inclusion, recruitment, induction, people and performance management, intern and volunteer management, and PDRs.   You will support and enable strong people management practices across the organization and remote and improve HR services for the benefit of the organization.

This role would suit a confident, resilient HR Advisor or HR Business Partner that enjoys building great working relationships.  This will be a broad and varied HR Generalist roles and key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the day to day delivery of HR services and administration in line with agreed policy/procedures. 

Working to improve and develop HR services to meet organisational needs; minimising requirements for HR administration by streamlining processes.

Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR issues, and on policies and procedures. Follow up pro-actively, using a collaborative approach, to find solutions and ensure satisfactory outcomes.

Act as key contact to the International HR Team to secure visas where required and manage the process of international staff transfers.

Promote HR policies and services to the organisation to ensure consistency, transparency and fairness.

Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with managers and staff, establishing professional credibility.

Coach and support managers where needed in handling performance and conduct issues.

Provide HR support and advice to the Learning and Development Manager on the annual PDR process and returns.

Develop, coach and support line managers over the full cycle of the recruitment process, from developing job descriptions, person specifications, designing appropriate selection methods, and participating in interviews.

Act as a key contact for recruitment partners including advertising and recruitment agencies, and negotiate terms of business to ensure recruitment solutions are cost effective.

Contribute to effective data management and reporting by becoming a proficient user of our HRIS (Cezanne). Promote data-informed practice by identifying key metrics to support operational decision making and inform strategic HR initiatives.
