A renowned charity, supporting many of the most vulnerable people in society is in need of a new Finance Systems Implementation Manager to lead on the implementation of a new finance system. This role will work closely with the wider finance and IT teams as well as the implementation partner and will lead on implementation, data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT) and building a new chart of accounts. It will pay up to £63,000 per annum, pro-rated over three or four days per week and will run for an initial period of around 9 months, with possible extensions depending upon the status of the project. It will be largely remote, with occasional office (London) working required and the option to work from the offices as much as you like.As the Finance Systems Implementation Lead your role will involve:
- Getting to know the finances of the organisation (in particular the fund accounting) and the needs from the new system
- Working with finance colleagues, IT colleagues and the implementation partner to implement the new system
- Plan and lead data migration to the new system
- Lead on UAT
- Lead month-end test runs on the new system
- Develop a new chart of accounts and ensure the system is embedded effectively and is producing reports as per the organisation's requirements
- Train users on the new system
The ideal candidate for the Finance Systems Implementation Lead will:
- Be a qualified accountant, or qualified by experience
- Have experience on leading systems implementations within the charity sector
- Have a passion for supporting society's most vulnerable people
