Business Analyst - Cyber Security Team
  • Contract Duration: Until 31st March 2026, initially
  • Location: Farringdon, London or Sheffield (Hybrid working model, 3 days in the office)

Project Profile

The successful Business Analyst will join our client's Cyber Security Team, working on key projects including the Cyber Defence Centre and other significant initiatives. The role involves collaboration with the Project Manager and contributing to various projects such as the Vulnerability Simplification Project and Secure OT. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Key Accountabilities
  • Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to challenge and push back when necessary.
  • Forward-thinking is required to ensure project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Challenge and escalate issues when needed to avoid inefficiencies or potential improvements at the project's conclusion.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong requirements management skills, typically within a Waterfall framework with deliverables required to pass through a gating process.
  • Significant experience in delivering Business Analysis within large-scale technology projects that have successfully implemented changes into multiple and integrated systems affecting multiple business stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, working closely with business, operational, and IT stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst in large complex organisations.
  • Proven experience in requirements gathering and process mapping.
  • Effective interpersonal skills including communication, influencing, collaboration, listening, and conflict management.
  • Thorough understanding and experience in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Vendor/Supplier management experience in a multi-supplier environment.
  • Proactive approach to work, strong teamwork, and collaboration skills.
Desirable
  • Previous experience working for a logistics company.
  • Previous experience working for a consultancy.
