Business Analyst (Rail Sector Experience Required)

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to support business change, continuous improvement, and efficient IT architecture design in preparation for the transition to a public-owned structure.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you will:
- Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and Sponsor to deliver business change requirements.
- Design and implement data maps, systems, and controls to meet project objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps in data processes and develop improved reporting and data-sharing solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in data collection processes, aligning with the broader data strategy.
- Establish governance and process controls to support the transition process effectively.
About You
We're looking for someone with the following:
Experience
- Confident working with the full O365 platform suite.
- Proven experience in railway operations, key data management, and reporting timeframes.
- Experience building and managing SharePoint lists.
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft Platform stack, including SharePoint, Power BI, and PowerApps.
- Familiarity with railway terms and conditions (desirable).
