Commercial IT Business Analyst - Procurement

We are looking for Commercial IT Business Analyst to work for our Central Government client

About the role: You will be responsible for sourcing, which involves identifying the most cost-effective ways to contract. This includes leading end-to-end competitive and single-source procurement activities. You will also take the lead on developing business cases as part of the sourcing process, conducting requirements analysis, and assessing tenders. It is essential to ensure that all procurement activities provide the best value for money in accordance with HMG (Her Majesty's Government) procurement policy.

Skills and experience: The ideal candidate will hold active SC Clearance and demonstrable passion for Business Analysis, with the following skills:

  • Proficient in Business Analysis methodologies, techniques, and documentation, including As-Is analysis, Requirements Engineering, Process Mapping, and Options Analysis.
  • Skilled in developing business cases, managing benefits, implementing knowledge management practices, and ensuring value for money.
  • Experienced in Stakeholder Management, with the ability to identify, analyse, establish, and maintain key relationships with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Background in working on large procurement projects within the UK public sector.
