A leading financial services organisation is currently searching for Payment Implementation Managerwith experience in payment migrations on a 12 month contract basis.The day rate will be £750 Umbrella per day, with their working policy being two/three days out of their City of London offices.Responsibilities for the role are;

My world leading financial services client are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Technical Implementation Manager to guide and support their clients in integrating with their platform via API/Host to Host (H2H) and SWIFT channels. You will have the chance to take the lead in migrating from our SWIFT MT service to our SWIFT File ACT channel for some of the bank's largest clients.

As a Technical Implementation Manager, you will:

  • Lead the migration of key clients from SWIFT MT services to SWIFT File ACT channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering, Transaction Banking Solutions, and Market Trade & Delivery, to ensure successful client outcomes.
  • Manage multiple client implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and project milestones are met.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing technical guidance and ensuring products are delivered according to client requirements and timelines.
  • Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, gradually building a strong rapport with clients' engineering teams.
  • Offer project management expertise, helping clients set up and optimize their channel services.

To succeed in this role, we're looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in implementing SWIFT MT services within a financial institution.
  • Self-starter mentality with evidence of taking ownership and delivering results.
  • Broad knowledge of commercial banking products and services.
  • Understanding of commercial clients' transactional business.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT MT, XML ISO 20022 PAIN 001, BACS, SWIFT, Payments, Host to Host (H2H) protocols.
