Requirements/Business Analyst

Our Client is a UK travel insurance company who pride themselves on their commitment to integrity, customer service, and fostering a positive workplace culture. They are currently in an exciting growth phase and are expanding their IT and Digital Delivery team to include a Requirements/Business Analyst.
This is a varied and fast paced role working in a small friendly team, delivering projects through external partners within a small central IT team. You will be a highly motivated and organised professional with a blend of technical and business acumen, and a positive, clear and confident communication style. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel in collaborating across teams to capture requirements for high-quality IT and digital solutions.
Duties (include but are not limited to)
- Report to the IT and Digital Delivery Manager
- Support business stakeholders
- Gather and document business and technical requirements
- Produce & manage business documentation and plans
- Work with stakeholders at all levels
Person Specification
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience of working in a UK insurance company (travel, general, life/medical)
- A technical background
- Proficiency in MS Office 365, Visio or similar, Teams, SharePoint, Wireframing and graphics tools
- A proven track record in producing high quality functional and non-functional requirements for software development and IT projects
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience of working with cross-functional teams
- Experience in creating business system documentation
- Great business acumen.
- A business/requirements analysis qualification (preferred)
- UK travel insurance experience (preferred)
