Requirements/Business Analyst

Our Client is a UK travel insurance company who pride themselves on their commitment to integrity, customer service, and fostering a positive workplace culture. They are currently in an exciting growth phase and are expanding their IT and Digital Delivery team to include a Requirements/Business Analyst.

This is a varied and fast paced role working in a small friendly team, delivering projects through external partners within a small central IT team. You will be a highly motivated and organised professional with a blend of technical and business acumen, and a positive, clear and confident communication style. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel in collaborating across teams to capture requirements for high-quality IT and digital solutions.

Duties (include but are not limited to)

  • Report to the IT and Digital Delivery Manager
  • Support business stakeholders
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements
  • Produce & manage business documentation and plans
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels

Person Specification

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience of working in a UK insurance company (travel, general, life/medical)
  • A technical background
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, Visio or similar, Teams, SharePoint, Wireframing and graphics tools
  • A proven track record in producing high quality functional and non-functional requirements for software development and IT projects
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience of working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in creating business system documentation
  • Great business acumen.
  • A business/requirements analysis qualification (preferred)
  • UK travel insurance experience (preferred)
