Technical Business Analyst (SQL) London to £85k

Are you a tech savvy Business Analyst with SQL skills combined with a good understanding of finance /asset classes?

You could be progressing your career at a small, hugely successful Hedge Fund, working on complex and interesting systems with continual learning opportunities.

As a Technical Business Analyst you will work across a range of asset classes (e.g. Fixed Income, Commodities, Equities, FX, etc.), collaborating with various teams to understand their requirements. Responsibilities will include critically evaluating information from multiple sources; acting as the conduit between the client and development team / 3rd party vendor; design and documentation as well as overseeing the implementation and configuration of the solution to the end business user. You'll facilitate clear communication across business units, updating on progress, compromises and delivery timescales.

Location:

You'll join colleagues in impressive Central London offices with flexibility to work from home one day a week.

About you:

  • You have strong Business Analyst / Project Management experience within a finance environment
  • You have a good understanding of a range of asset classes e.g. Fixed Income, Commodities, Equities, FX
  • You have advanced requirements gathering, analysis and documentations skills
  • You have strong SQL skills (including advanced queries and joins)
  • You have experience of collaborating with software development teams across the full lifecycle, ideally including testing
  • You're collaborative and pragmatic with excellent written and verbal communication skills
