My client is a well renowned, market-leading construction supplies company, and we're looking for an experienced Business Development/Key Account Manager to join a growing team. You'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue, expanding market share and fostering strong partnerships with both new and existing clients.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Driving Sales & Growth - Identify new market opportunities, develop strategies, and exceed targets. Meeting 3-4 clients per day within electrical wholesale and end user contractors within the M+E and construction industry
  • Building Strong Relationships - Maintain and grow partnerships with key customers.
  • Expert Consulting - Act as a subject matter expert on our industry-leading products.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy - Keep up to date with industry trends and translate insights into action.
  • Collaborating with Teams - Work closely with internal sales and marketing teams to maximize impact.
  • Using Data to Win - Leverage CRM and sales reports to optimise performance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or Key Account Manager
  • Strong track record of exceeding sales targets and growing a region.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of construction, electrical distribution, building materials, manufacturing or distribution required. This is a product-based sale focused on price, quality and delivery of product, right first time.
  • Tech-savvy, with CRM expertise and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
