An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Conversion Manager to lead communications and activities that support converting postgraduate offer holders into enrolled students from around the world within this world-leading university.  This is a full-time, permanent role, based near Euston, with hybrid working arrangements of 2 days per week on-site.  There is some requirements to work evenings or very occasional weekends during events periods.

The Role
You will develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive programme of online and in-person recruitment events. This will include overseeing in-person open evenings, annual virtual open days, keep-warm communications, and student ambassador initiatives. You will also be managing online student communities and supporting colleagues in student recruitment and marketing efforts.
You will play a critical strategic role in implementing customer relationship management (CRM) and digital engagement strategies for prospective students. They will be responsible for designing an engaging applicant journey that spans from initial inquiry to final enrollment. This involves carefully identifying and optimising customer touchpoints across all communication channels, effectively communicating the brand, programme offerings, and student experience, with the ultimate goal of maximising conversion rates at every stage of the student recruitment process.

Key skills and experience required:
  • Strong communication skills
  • A track record of engaging audiences through successful events and well-developed communication plans
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy to ensure written communications are accurate
  • Experience in building effective relationships with colleagues across the institution.
  • A proactive approach to monitor and analyse conversion activities, helping to best understand and improve recruitment strategies.
