2nd Line Support - Banking

Hybrid - Inside IR35

We are working with a leading banking client seeking an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft cloud technologies (Azure), Windows OS, and networking, providing high-quality support to internal teams and ensuring seamless IT operations in a regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 2nd line technical support for Microsoft Azure, M365, Windows OS, SQL Server and Microsoft Exchange
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls, etc.).
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for the Data Warehouse and SQL and VM server environments that this application resides on. This also include any and associated applications and interfaces.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for Banking Systems that are developed both internally and externally
  • As and when required perform 1st line support duties
  • Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and incident management following ITIL best practices.
  • Ensure all security and compliance requirements are met, adhering to banking industry regulations.
