Venn Group is seeking a 3rd Line Support Engineer with DV (UKIC) clearance for an on-site position in London.
The role is available as a 1+ year contract or fixed-term contract, with salary and rate dependent on experience.
Key responsibilities include providing technical support, designing and implementing deployment technologies, and delivering desktop patch cycles.
Candidates should have over one year of experience with Windows 7 and 10, Active Directory, and Citrix Virtualisation.
Applicants must hold a valid DV clearance to be considered for this position.

Our client urgently require a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join the team on a long-term contract or fixed term contract.

Responsibilities:

Provide 3rd Line Technical support to the Customer Systems under support of the Enterprise Desktop Service
Design, implement and support deployment technologies
Deliver routine Desktop Patch cycles and Image updates
Provide deep troubleshooting/diagnostics of Desktop issues, using standard toolsets
Produce design, release and support documentation to a high standard for all supported systems

Skills Required:

Excellent experience with Windows 7 and Windows 10 Desktop Imaging
Knowledge of Windows Lockdown using Group Policy to NSCS/Microsoft SCM Levels
Experience with Active Directory Group Policy Objects, including AppLocker and Firewall Implementation
Good knowledge of Citrix Virtualisation for Desktops and Applications
Experience with Application Virtualisation (App-V) and User Environment Virtualisation (UE-V)
Must hold a DV Clearance (UKIC)
