Your new role

  • BAU / Triage - Provide first-line support to maintain the integrity and availability of applications for both internal and external customers - Primary responsibility.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Gain expertise in various existing or new applications as needed - Primary responsibility.
  • Ticket Resolution - Follow established procedures to resolve service desk tickets.
  • Project Requirements - Plan, prepare, and deliver project requirements.
  • Audit & Compliance - Provide audit and compliance information as requested.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks - Manage additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Service Desk Requests - Oversee service desk requests to ensure compliance with SLAs.
  • System Documentation - Prepare and maintain system support documentation as needed.
  • Vendor Management - Handle relationships with vendors when necessary.
  • Upgrades / Patching - Oversee software upgrades and patching to ensure systems are up-to-date.
  • Business Communication - Coordinate with Business Operations to resolve issues and provide feedback.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous Application Support experience with a Financial Services company (Essential)
  • Strong communication skills
  • 5+ years experience working in Application Support
