Application Support Engineer - Sought by Financial Services - London - Permanent - Hybrid
About the Role:
The Senior Support Engineer role is to develop and support the Bank's Business Intelligence (BI) functions including the Azure data warehouse. The role is closely linked with the Operating divisions and requires working with Department Heads and divisional accountants with a strong focus on supporting and developing the Finance department.
Required Experience:
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake and Azure Functions.
- Designing and building of data pipelines using API ingestion and DevOps processes including CI/CD.
- Proficient in SQL and data visualisation tool such as Power BI, expertise in database management and data modelling.
- Provide technical support for Azure Data in data access & ingestion, data processing, data integration and advanced analytics.
- Prior experience working with on premises and familiarity with SSRS/SSIS.
