Business Support Systems Applications Administrator - OUR CLIENT is an established and extensive real estate investment and development group. The business continues expand throughout the UK and is active across multiple asset classes. As a result, they use a variety of specialist systems and applications as well as mainstream products and have now instructed us to help recruit a graduate level Business Support Applications Administrator to join their Business System Department team and to act as first line user support and to manage tasks to keep the applications running smoothly.

THE ROLE will include but not limited to:

  • Providing first line support of business applications to internal users on a variety of business systems.
  • Initial troubleshooting and analysis of reported issues.
  • Setting up and updating user accounts across applications.
  • Maintaining data and verifying data integrity within applications.
  • Reconciling data within applications and in conjunction with other data sources.
  • Analysing change requests and business requirements.
  • Working with system administrators and departmental managers to ensure an accurate understanding of issues or requirements.
  • Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships across departments.
  • Providing assistance with departmental projects.

THE PERSON skills and requirements are:

  • You should have recently completed a relevant IT or systems degree.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills; able to research problems and propose solutions.
  • A genuine interest in a career in business systems and support.
  • Any exposure to real estate systems would be an additional advantage - MRI QUBE, DWELLANT, YARDI, TRAMPS, etc.
  • A working proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Commitment to on-going learning.
