Desktop Support Engineer

Onsite 5 days a week

Are you an experienced Desktop Support Engineer looking to join a globally recognised media organisation at the forefront of digital innovation? Our client, a household name in the entertainment industry, is seeking a dynamic and technically skilled IT professional to join their Technology team in their vibrant Shoreditch office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Level 2 desktop and laptop support across hardware, OS, and applications.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain Mac and Windows operating systems.

  • Manage basic DNS and DHCP configurations and issues.

  • Support and administer Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Use Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and security.

  • Follow ITIL best practices for incident, request, and change management.

  • Deploy and maintain desktop hardware and software.

  • Log and track issues via the Freshworks service desk system.

  • Collaborate with global IT teams to resolve escalated issues.

  • Provide clear communication and user training when required.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong background in Level 2 Desktop Support (Level 3 a bonus).

  • Hands-on experience supporting both Mac and Windows environments.

  • Comfortable managing Active Directory users and objects.

  • Solid knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting.

  • Proficient with Office 365 administration and end-user support.

  • Familiarity with Intune, Freshworks, or similar platforms.

  • Working knowledge of ITIL frameworks.

  • Excellent communicator with a customer-first mindset.

  • Confident, self-sufficient, and thrives in collaborative teams.
