IT End User Support Team Lead - City of London

We are working with a prestigious Global Professional Services client as they look to engage an onsite IT Support Team Lead to work out of their London office.

As part of a local IT Management team offering white glove support to up to 1000 users, you will work with the IT Support Manager and another IT Support Team lead to ensure that the onsite technology support team deliver an exceptional support experience to users.

You will be part of a wider global Technology Support team, but the role focuses on the specific needs of the London office users.

This role has come about due to internal promotion. Our client has a genuine commitment to ongoing professional development, and this is proven in their retention rates, often due to internal movement opportnities and training opportnities offered.

In addition to the base salary there is also a bonus and a benefits package.

You will have approx. 5 direct reports initially and these will be IT Support and AV professionals. You must have some experience in managing, supervising or team leadership as this is a large focus of the role.

In addition to this there will also be several large and small projects you will be asked to lead or oversee and so this is a very varied role.

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience leading, supervising or managing a team of IT End User Support professionals
  • Experience in working and supporting a Windows environment, as well as experience of supporting mobile devices (ie Smartphones, tablets), MDM systems (ie BES, BlackBerry Work, Microsoft Intune) and communication technologies
  • You must also have experience of working within a structured corporate environment (ie law, professional services, finance, consultancy etc)
  • You will evidence systems and service delivery management experience in an ITIL environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills and you must understand the importance of going the "extra mile" to ensure that you not only provide a good service but deliver an excellent end user experience
