Ryder Reid Legal is looking to recruit an experienced IT Support Specialist to join one of our prestigious, international law firm clients on a permanent basis. Our client, renowned for their market-leading practices in complex transactions, high-stakes litigation, and public policy, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide exceptional technical support and contribute to the innovative and collaborative culture for their London office.

Job Summary: As an IT Support Specialist, the IT Support Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day support of computer operations in the firm's international offices. Under the direct supervision of the London IT Support Manager, the ideal will ensure superior service to the firm's attorneys, advisors, and staff, maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for computer system users.
  • Troubleshoot software, hardware, network devices, printers, and smartphones.
  • Set up Cisco Phones (CUCM Administration) and deploy machines.
  • Support mobility (MDM) with Airwatch & Intune.
  • Set up Audio/Video Conferences and handle escalated Help Desk tickets.
  • Participate in IT projects, software upgrades, and equipment returns.
  • Train system users and participate in application testing.
  • Maintain accurate equipment inventory and improve technical skills through professional education.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly, effective approach.
  • Strong knowledge of PC hardware and software, including Windows OS and MS Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
  • Commitment to professional growth and development.

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of Second Line/Desktop Support experience in a professional services company.
  • 5+ GCSEs including Maths and English (grades A-C).
  • ITIL Foundation and Citrix knowledge (desirable but not required).
