IT Support Analyst – 12 month FTCÂ
We are looking for an IT Support Analyst with experience of Windows and Linux environments with VMware. The role will be providing 2 nd and 3 rd line support across the business covering 2 sites with strong troubleshooting experience across multi-platform environments.Â
Required Skills:
- Troubleshooting ability– someone who enjoys the technical challenge and finding resolutions to complex problems.
- Experience providing support including installation / configuration, upgrading and troubleshooting both in person and remotely.
- Strong knowledge of virtualisation – VMWare.
- SQL, being confident troubleshooting SQL performance issues – SQL Server.
- Strong background in Windows and ideally some Linux/Unix OS’s including supporting numerous Applications on mixed Windows / Linux Server platforms.
- Some Linux / Unix Systems Administration (Redhat, Centos) highly desirable.
- Advanced Networking / Infrastructure Troubleshooting and Diagnostics – DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Firewalls
- Good understanding / operational experience of ITIL methodology with any certifications beneficial.
- Ability work well under pressure in an exciting technological environment.
