Junior IT Support Specialist x 2 – Financial Services – £26k - LondonOverview:We are currently partnered with a market-leading financial services organisation who are looking for two Junior IT support specialists to join their London team. The business has grown since its creation 30 years ago and provides their services globally as they now boast offices in 16 countries.  These roles would be ideal for someone looking to make their first move into an IT environment, who has a genuine interest in providing technical support.Role & Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line technical support to employees and clients, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Respond to IT helpdesk tickets via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and software.
  • Help maintain the IT asset inventory and document system configurations.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate more complex issues.
  • Provide basic support for Microsoft Office Suite, Windows operating systems, and other common applications.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, backups, and security checks.
  • Contribute to ongoing IT projects and initiatives.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
