Microsoft 365 Support Engineer

NonStop is looking for a Microsoft 365 Support Engineer to work within a Central Government Department. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to be involved in ground-breaking work, someone who wants to be involved in protecting national security whilst enabling users to work in far better ways than any previous solutions have allowed in this space.

About the Role: The Microsoft 365 Support Engineer will manage, maintain, and enhance Microsoft 365 technologies for the Cabinet Office, supporting the Prime Minister and the effective running of the government. The role involves working with internal teams to ensure high availability, performance, and security of Microsoft 365 services and related products (e.g., Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, etc.).
  • Ensure service availability, performance, and security.
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell and other scripting languages.
  • Provide support, training, and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Liaise with business units to develop efficient solutions using Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Stay updated with new Microsoft 365 features and coordinate their rollout.
  • Optimize licensing and subscription costs.

Essential Requirements:

  • Active DV Clearance.
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 technologies, Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, Azure, etc.
  • Experience in managing Microsoft 365 services, including licensing, Intune, and Entra ID.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
  • Proven experience in managing large enterprise environments.
