Production Support Engineer (Windows / Linux SQL) Remote UK to £65k
Opportunity to progress your career at a well established US based eTrading software house that is expanding its UK presence, the company was founded by two experienced Hedge Fund managers who are on a mission to create a trusted, vendor neutral trading platform solution for Asset Managers and Hedge Funds globally.
As a Production Support Engineer you will join a globally dispersed team to ensure that production systems are running efficiently and provide technical support to users 24/7. You'll be monitoring systems to ensure their availability and responsiveness, collaborating closely with software engineers and QA engineers to suggest and implement system improvements.
Location / WFH:
You can work from home remotely from anywhere in the UK on a fulltime basis.
About you:
- You have experience in a similar Production Support / Technical Support position
- You have experience of supporting large scale, business critical systems - preferably with an understanding of OMS trade order management / trade execution systems
- You have a strong knowledge of Windows and / or Linux Operating Systems
- You have a good knowledge of SQL
- You are degree educated in a STEM discipline
- Experience with FIX protocol would be of benefit but isn't essential
