A leading commodities trading firm is searching for a senior application support analyst to join their newly formed team within data on a permanent basis.
Experience within a Financial organisations in an application support environment is essential.
Hybrid working with 3 days a week on-site in London
Role:
- Support all of the front office / Trade Floor Products.
- Join a newly formed team - Lots of room for change / improvements. Looking for someone who can take initiative to leave their own mark on things
- Sit as a deputy within the team and play a key role in future growth
- Heavy opportunity for automation driven project work, with opportunity to upskill in Python
- Work in close collaboration with traders, handling queries and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Strong Application Support experience in financial services.
- Scripting experience necessary - any language but needs the mindset of utilising scripting for automation.
- Monitoring tooling experience i.e. Geneos/Nagios/Solarwinds
- Basic SQL i.e. select and nested queries
- Proactive candidate with initiative
